Q. Do I have a choice of type of connote?
A. Yes, we provide both 3 part & 4 part dot matrix generic consignment notes. Most carriers will require 4 part as senders copy is a necessity & 3 part normally used only with our SmartFreight program.
Q. What type of printer do I need?
A. Any good quality dot matrix printer will work with system
Q. What are system minimum hardware requirements?
A. Program will run successfully on Windows 95 with 200Mhz processor.
Q. Do I need Terms & Conditions printed on connotes?
A. No, terms & conditions printed on the reverse of a consignment note have never been required. All freight companies will have submitted a quotation re freight rates accompanied by your company’s terms & conditions. There is a clause on the front connote stating that by issuing connote customer reconfirms existing terms & conditions in place, which has the full backing of Australian & New Zealand courts
