Q. System on boot up cannot find database?
A. Reboot workstation to re-establish connection to your main server. If this does not succeed contact your own internal IT Manger to test network connections & access to drives have not been changed.


Q. System tells me I have not downloaded for X days, what do I do?
A. If you can download & simply have forgotten to do so, do so immediately. If you are unable to due to for whatever reason, contact your internal IT Manager immediately to test & resolve your FTP Internet connection. Failure to do say may result in your freight being unable to be delivered and system will cease to operate after 14 days without downloading


Q. Cannot print label?
A. Check all cables are securely in place. Switch off printer for at least 30 seconds to allow memory to reset. If you are printing across network check with your internal IT Manager you are able to see printer on network.


Q. Cannot print connotes?
A. Check all cables are securely in place. Switch off printer for at least 30 seconds to allow memory to reset. If you are printing across network check with your internal IT Manager you are able to see printer on network


Q. Cannot print manifest?
A. Check all cables are securely in place. Switch off printer for at least 30 seconds to allow memory to reset. If you are printing across network check with your internal IT Manager you are able to see printer on network


Q. Computer was shut down & has automatically manifested freight, what do I do?
A. If you have not printed connotes
Select

  • Despatch
  • Reprint connotes
  • Set to today’s date
  • Carrier to reprint
  • Print as normal

If you have not printed manifest

  • Despatch
  • Reprint manifest
  • Set to today’s date
  • Carrier to reprint
  • Print as normal

Do not change flag to resend data file to IFS to Yes unless specifically requested to do so by IFS as the earlier closure/manifest process would have created data file successfully.
Be aware once manifested connotes cannot be edited consolidated to or deleted


Q. While downloading data an error message 12002 appeared, what does it mean?
A. Quite simply it means you do not currently have an Internet connection available. Contact your internal IT Manager immediately to resolve problem. Rebooting PC may re establish connection with your server & hence Internet connection
