IFS can provided a transport company with the ability to remote print customers consignment notes at the transport depot on the customers behalf.
Most large freight companies provide this service now & it is difficult for smaller transport providers to compete with this without investing an inordinate amount of time & money in software & IT support.
IFS SmartFreight® Enterprise when in place at a customers site automatically produces an electronic file which is sent initially to IFS / Secure Data Bureau & is then forwarded to carrier’s offices.
Software provided by IFS & installed on basic PC at your depot with access to either dot matrix or laser printer can then be used to print consignment notes within minutes of being manifested at customer’s premises.
System can print bar-coded three part dot matrix or laser consignment notes & stores 90 days worth of data to allow reprinting if required.
